what is the national bird of your country?

Iam an indian. India's national bird is peacock. when it dances in the rain and spreads its colourful feathers it is a pretty sight. what about you?

in the us it is the eagle..i think it's a very majestic bird and i'm proud that it's our national bird.... just love peacocks, though. I grew up in the south and was around them quite a bit...they are gorgeous birds and the color of their feathers is just awesome!

I am also from India. The Indian peacock, the national bird, is a colourful, swan-sized bird, vith a fan-shaped crest of feathers, a white patch nder the eye and a
long, slender neck. It is fully protected under the Indian wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
