The books were getting longer as they went along but the sixth one was shorter than the fifth. Do you think the seventh book will be extra long or similar size to the sixth?

I don't know how long it will be but I hope it is massive. I love getting lost in a Harry Potter book for a few days. I feel the same way about Stephen King books. It is almost like you become a part of that world for a little while.

I've read that JKR is determined to make this the end of the series, so I think she will want to wrap up all the loose ends. This would probably make it the longest book in the series, in my opinion. There is always hope she will change her mind down the road, though....hopefully she leaves it open for future stories, if not with Harry (If he gets killed off...)then maybe with other characters. There are so many side story possibilites there.

My guess is that it will be the longest book yet, because J K Rawlings wants to put as much as she can into the last book. Do you think she will kill off Harry Potter? People like Stephen King have written to Rawlings begging her not to kill him off. But she refuses to say she didn't, and has many times said she might need to kill him off to end the series. The only thing that bothers me with the whole Harry Potter series is that the movies are so far behind the books. When I watch one of the movies I almost have to go back in time to remember what is going on because I'm already two books ahead of the latest movie. Know what I mean? It's a great series and I'm kind of sad it's almosy over, but I'm looking forward to the last book, but have not ordered it yet from Amazon.
