children. I have twin 4yr olds, then 8, 10, 14, and a 16 yr old. So six kids in a house that can have a 5th bedroom, with a very small yard. But the house is perfect for our family. Also, the house is close to a park, and close to schools and the price is right for the house

I would considering the fact that you could always take your children to play at the schools playgrounds if it is so close by. Really it's difficult to find a house that will be big enough for your whole family considering how many kids you have and the age difference between them. If the price is right I say buy it. It sounds perfect, you can work around the lack of space in the yard, but I would check on what kind of neighbors you have. You will be kinda close to them. Maybe drive past it at night and make sure there is no loud parties or drinking.

i think that be good if there a park near by and that.We are buying a house to and that is one thing that is stoping us is yard sixe. I say as long as you have some yard that is good. If everything else works for your family i say go for it. I see you posted this longtime ago. So how you make out? You get that house or what? i wouldlike to know. We thought bout getting a 5 br but it has small yard and no garage. So i think we arent going to get it i think. I mean the house be great but that is the olny thing the location and stuff isnt so great for us.

We finally decided against buying the house. Even though it had room for all of the kids, we decided we didn't want to invest our money into something that didn't meet the criteria we set when we started house hunting.
We are now living in a house that has 3 beds 2 bath, extra storage space, and a garage. The family room downstairs will be converted into 2 additional bedrooms, and the smallest bedroom will become a hobby room. And there is a yard, front, side and back. We will be redoing the landscape in the spring to include moving fence lines. Then the back yard and side yard will be connected.
The house we are in is slowly becoming a home. It is located about an hour from hubbies work, so he stays in the city during the work week. But the location is great, a small community that rallies around its members.

So glad to hear you found a home you can live with and at least with the yard you could always add on. My husband and I recently had the same situation. We found this perfect house with a two car attached garage. but the yard was extrememly smal and I mean the size of a large room at best and where it was at had a lot of people we didn't want to be close to.

That is great. We are now trying to deciede what to do oursleves. We the money we can spend we dont have alot of houses to choose from. We saw the best one so far but that is a lille yard and it is in a differnt school system and we would have to take them to their school. But the town is olny 2 miles from there so it woulndt be to bad. We are thinking for our first house i t be good then mabye we can move more where we want to later on. Right now we just need a house. We have to move our of the rentel we have.

Since you have a park near your house I definitely would go for it. Especially if the price is right for you. Go for it and may you have great blessing and happiness in your new home.
