Anyone else dog crazy?

I've been involved in the dog fancy for over 15 years. My mom has breed Siberian Huskies almost my entire life and I grew up with them, but also was fortunate enough to get to participate in Junior Handling where I showed dozens of other breeds.
I was drawn to a few different breeds after I lost my last Siberian, including the Italian greyhound, bernese mountain dog and Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever, but ultimately they all had a drawback that didn't fit with my lifestyle. I ultimately decided to go with a pembroke welsh corgi, and in a few years time, will get a show quality male which has got me pretty excited.
Anyone else a dog show nut?

Hi breepeace, I am also into dogs. I am nuts about dogs. I used to show rough collies. Now I have shetland sheepdogs. I have been into breeding and showing as well. Yesterday I had my first show with my sheltie and she got reserve best puppy in group 1.

I love watching the dog shows. My mom also bred dogs while I was growing up. She bred chinese shar pei's. And my heart is now with that breed. I am hoping to getting into breeding them myself. I use to really enjoy helping my mom with the labor's and than the training of the puppies. I loved it. Hopefully some day soon. But I watch the dog shows every years just to see the shar peis and hope that one will win, but I have never seen that happen.

I love watching dog shows. It's interesting to see all the different sorts of dogs, even it's only on TV. I've never been to a live dog show, although I would love to go someday.
