|  Is there any big O fans here. I absolutly love this mans voice I have most albums. Elvis called him "the greatest singer in the world", whilst Bob Dylan said "There was nothing else on the radio like him. I'd listen and wait for another song..."
My favs are Only the Lonley, Heartache, Cry Softly Lonley One, Amy, Penny Arcade. Anyone else a big fan? Anybody seen his film "The fastest guitar alive?"

| |  I grew up with Roy Orbinson (my mother has many of his albums)and I too love him, he has a powerful voice. I love the song, 'running scared', it is so intense.

| |  Oh yes I loved Roy Orbison, he was one of the greatest singers in the world that it very true. I have many of his songs and have listen to him for over 40 years now but I cannot remember his film as I must never of seen it but I wished that I had.

| |  Oh wow! I thought I was the only one left in the world that likes him! Only the Lonely is my absolute favorite of his songs. His voice is so unique and melodious. I can't say enough good things about him. He's awesome.

| |  My mum likes Roy Orbison and I got her his album one Christmas (good old Ebay!) I've been trying to rack my brains of one of the hits he had which was fairly recent, well I say recent, 80s, hang on Ross, just off to check it on Google, otherwise it'll annoy the hell out of me... I vaguely remember the song being on Now 22 soundtrack (now that is going back some years!) LOL. Found it
I drove all night! Now that is my all time favourite, great song, great lyrics, must download that now, cheers my friend!

| |  Hi ross, Oh yes, both my husband and I have been fans of his for years! I've always loved his voice, and music. I love "only the lonely" and of course, "Pretty Woman" is a big time favorite! When my sweetie and I were "courting" (and still today sometimes) he sings it to me:)
We have a PBS (public broadcasting) channel on tv, They featured him a while back, had a 2 hour special, it was very interesting.

| |  Ross I fell in love with his music in the late 60's.Some of my friends said there were going to see him but I'm thinking"who is this guy" I was listening to Beatles,Dave Clark Five,Monkees,Bob Dylan etc...I went and what a show! I've seen him a number of times since...My fav was when he sang 'Pretty woman'
