Confusion on phone....!! |
|
Do people often confuse in your voice and your family member's voices on phone.. with me this was a regular feature.. people could never identify between my mum's, mine and my two sisters voices.. often uncles used to greet me mistaking me to be my mom.. and my friends used to first ask who it was.. does this lso happens with you??

1. emeraldisle (9053) | 1 year ago | This happens with us all the time. All the time really. My sister, my niece and I all live in the same house and we all sound a like. Add to that my mother sounds like us as well. One time back when my grandmother was still alive she talked with me for 45 minutes before either of us realized she thought she was talking with my sister. Scary huh? I know it's confused a few people and now when my parents call over here they ask who they are talking to because they just aren't sure. I find it funny sometimes but no one else we talk to seems to think it is:) Can come in handy though when someone calls for my sister and I can pretend to be her for something, like the doctor's office called due to a screw up in her meds. She'd taken my niece to her vollyball game so I answered and pretended to be here as I explained what had happened. They never knew the difference.

3. gardengalz (1778) | 1 year ago | My Aunt and I are like sisters, and apparently sound identical. I'm over at her place to visit each week and if I answer the phone, I have to stop the other person from continuing the conversation as they assume it's my Aunt. My Uncle called today, and I thought he knew it was me until he asked how "I" was doing. I laughed and told him who he was really talking to, and then we both laughed together.

5. danishcanadian (13941) | 1 year ago | My step-mother and her sister sound exactly alike on the phone. Even their daughters get confused when they are together, and the other one answers the phone. They confuse the heck out of me too, when they are together, and I call my step-mother's home.

7. Emilie88 (118) | 1 year ago | Most of the time my sister's friends confuse me with my sister and visa versa...I guess it's normal in a way, we have almost the same way of answering, we are not even 2 years appart, and on top of that we have pretty much the same expressions. When a friend calls for me ..that person is so concentrated into wanting to talk to me that they almost forget I have a sister ...
