we replaced plug and wires, fuel filter, and still has the same problem. Everyone says they think it's the fuel pump, but then they also want to put it on the tester. I don't have alot of money for replacing alot of parts etc. I need the cheapest way to repair, can anyone help? Thank you.

Have you had the catalytic converter checked, when it gets stopped up it will bog your motor down also, a car model that age you can go ahead and disconnect the catalytic converter altogether, Also, you can check the fuel pump yourself, by disconnecting it at the carburater, then put a can to catch the gas when it comes out of the line, as you give the motor a couple of turns with the starter,(but only a couple of turns), you will see if it barely pumps out gas, its the fuel pump, if a lot of gas comes out , it's not the fuel pump!!
