Man Arrested in Girl's Pet Dog Beheading  |

|  ST. PAUL, Minn. (March 23) - A 24-year-old man has been arrested, suspected of cutting the head off of a 17-year-old girl's pet dog and leaving it at her front door in a gift-wrapped box.
Crystal was devastated last month when Chevy, her 4-year-old Australian shepherd mix, went missing. Two weeks after the dog disappeared, a gift box addressed to Crystal was found at the front door of a house she shares with her grandmother. Crystal found Valentine's Day candy and a garbage bag containing her pet's head.

The man, who is expected to be arraigned Friday, was being held on suspicion of terrorist threats. Police said he may be charged with animal cruelty.
I hope he gets life and they darn well better charge him with animal cruelty and wors. What do you think about people like this. I think he has serious issues and should be off the streets.

| |  That is really quite sad. If he had a fight with this girl, that is one thing, but to actually kill her pet- which in my book is the same as a family member- is very, very low.
I feel badly for the girl and her family. This would be very sad to have to deal with.

| |  Oh my! I hope he is locked up in a mental institution for life and never allowed again into society. He certainly has some disturbing problems. And to say the least that poor girl is gonna have some emotional scars for the reminder of her life. That is certainly not something I would be wanting to live with.
