Jamie Lee Curtis is genetically Male  

first off i am not slandering her,Jamie lee is one of my favorite actresses..I care less about her living arrangements,that is her business..It is true,it is a known fact,however there are people born this way,and they cannot help it..i also feel that people should let people be themselves..It is the same with gays,it could be that they have a genetic problem also...all i am saying is we should not condeme people because we never know what they have been through......

I seriously doubt Jamie Lee Curtis is a hermaphrodite. And. By the way Gays are born that way. There recently was a USA senator who wanted to pass a law to allow doctors to alter the fetus if it was discovered that it would be Lesbian or Homosexual.

Curiosity got the best of me so I did a search on Jamie Lee Curtis. This is what I found on a page called Rumors.
One story that keeps on circulating around Hollywood is that Jamie Lee Curtis was born an hermaphrodite and had to undergo surgery after birth in order to become legally female!So, she is now legally a female even if she wasn't born one.

that is so true...thats the point i was trying to make here...some people under certain circumstance due to no fault of their own have had a lot of obsticles to overcome and that we do not know what they have been though,and that we should not judge...Thank you I am glad that you understand what i am trying to get across...

For me, the key word in all this is "rumor". According to Snopes the rumor is undetermined, no way to prove it unless Ms. Curtis states it.

Many intersexual persons have very difficult times growing up and knowing who they are. There are some children who are born with both sets of genitals and their parents choose to have surgery performed to "make them" one gender or the other. Then they grow up being treated like that gender. Then if they indeed identify themselves as the other gender, they are stuck.

It can't be an easy thing for either the parents or the child to deal with.

She does have a manly appearance. If I had to choose I would say she was a lesbian. So I think it could be possible.

She does in a lot of ways but she chose to be female which in her case she had a choice since she had both male and female chromosomes

Yes really,but she is a very sexy woman and one of my favorite actresses...i was trying to stress that some people are born ways that they do not choose,and they have to fix nature and she did...I commend her for overcoming her handicap and becoming the woman she is today.I think she is very brave.....

You are right and I don't care,I respect her even more than before i knew......She was born with XXY ,which means she was born with both male and female,however the point of this is that this wonderful woman has overcome her disability and is a beautiful lady today....She was brave as i see it,not many people could never overcome what she has and be what she is today...

It is on the urban legends of the stars...I am not judging her..I am commending her...Look how famous she is and what she has been through....Could you are I be that brave?

Hello real deal, It hurt me to find out also,not to judge but because she has had so many struggles in her life..It does not make me think less of her,in fact i admire her even more since i found out..She is a fantastic actress,and i like her very much,she is very famous..I don't know if i could have ever been anywhere near as brave as her....Look at what all she has accomplished with her being born with this handicap...

yes this does happen to babies sometime,and it is sad...I suppose this really caught me off guard because i worked in a mental hospital one time for a year..I saw a few hermanphrodites,and i had to change their diapers...I am happy that this brave lady has overcome her problems and done so well...
