 My wife was listening to her funky music and just about to eat her chunky chocolate bar, when out of the corner of her eye a small, furry, brown thing slowly crawled under the gap of the door underneath, it's about this point I knew of this little event as there was an almighty scream, which she said scared the thing off, and it moved at a great speed and just disappeared.
I've searched for a few hours and nothing, I just thought I would throw it out to you lot and ask what do you reckon it was, I myslef think it was a spider.. but apparently it all happened too quickly and the culprit has absconded, and evaded capture...

It is that time of the year for mice to come into houses since it is cold at night and warm during the days the little critters are out and about. Now I know some don't believe in hurting even a mouse but if it were mean there would be a trap right at the spot where it came from. I really really hate mice!!!!!

3.  owlwings (5412) | 3 years ago |  It could have been a spider but probably more likely to be a mouse. Rats are quite large and unable to squeeze through small gaps whereas mice can and do get through incredibly narrow spaces. Mice are also very partial to chocolate.

There are some sites knocking around which claim it's actually caused by our eyes & brains lapsing in communication. What truth there is in that I don't know, but it's quite interesting seeing we rarely find any sinister creatures lurking about!
