Have you written a life list?

There has been a lot of talk these days about life lists. Ellen Degeneres has talked about it, and Phil Keoghan (host of Amazing Race) has a book called N.O.W. No Opportunity Wasted. I am reading that book right now and some of the things on his life list are outrageous. I thought the book was beyond me when I first started reading it - I have no desire to swim with sharks or have a romantic dinner on top of an active volcano. But after reading some of these stories I have begun to start thinking that it is time I DO try something outrageous.
Up until now my list included becoming a published author, going to Hawaii and Ireland. Now I'm thinking of jumping out of an airplane. Phil Keoghan's personal description of his experience sounds exhilarating and I think I might want to give it a try.
What about you? Do you have a life list? Do you have anything outrageous that you want to do?

I have not done one yet but want to because I am a huge Ellen fan. I think it is a great idea. I know there would be three trips on my life list. I want to go to Las Vegas, Cuba and Ireland. I want to lose a 100 pounds. The only outrageous thing I would like to do about now is learn how to climb a mountain. I want to also go up in a hot air ballon.

I wanted to ride in a hot air balloon and still might want to. But last time I went to a water park and climbed the stairs to the highest slide I became really dizzy. Maybe it was just a one-time thing but I am worried I would get dizzy in a hot air balloon. But I still haven't written it off.

Not something I have come across here in the UK .. but have heard about it being popular in the US ..
I can't see the point in writing a life list .. if there are things you want to do and circumstances allow you will do them at some point .. having a list will only leave me frustrated if I couldn't do the things on it .. and I feel that maybe I might just miss out on a great opportuinity I had overlooked as it WASN'T on my life list ..

No, I don't have a "life list". I've done some outrageous things in my life (none of which I'm willing to admit to here) and hope to do/not do more (do good outrageous, not do bad outrageous). Good luck with the hot air balloon ride... a friend of mine bought a ride on a hot air balloon for her twins when they turned 18... every time they scheduled a time to go up, it was cancelled due to bad weather. The twins are now 21, and STILL haven't had their ride.
