Been bullied before?

i was bullied while i was on the school bus.. i understand later that why i was targeted, mainly because i look small sized, timid looking, and im female.. neither do i dare to stand up for myself either... i cried alot as well then.. i suppose as a parent you just have to take an extra care to talk to your kid.. so that he/she wld let you know the moment they r being bullied.. my mum was concerned abt me been scare of the sch bus.. she took a note to find out with the bus driver.. & helped me to solve my problem.. but as i grew up.. i realise that the bully is quite poor thing too.. he is just seeking some attention.. & his parents are often not there for him.. i so grew to forgive him.. afterall i cldnt remember what he did to him either.. =

I myself wouldn't want my children to experience being bullied in school. I have experienced being bullied and I know how it is. And I think all parents wouldn't want their children to be bullied. Some parents should also teach their children good manners so as not to bully other children.

Hi I was bullied very badly at school and it is a fear that my daughter will be bullied. All I can do is pray that this won't happen. I couldn't stand for her to go through what I went through. I had all my confidence knocked out of me and I became I am ashamed to say a victim. The abuse I suffered at school lead to my nervous breakdown and being severly mentally ill. When a kid goes through the torture that I did it lives with you years after.
