If you could ban one thing (that is currently legal) what would it be? If you could legalize something currently banned, what would it be? For me, I would ban cell phones and mp3/cd players in the classroom. I've heard all the arguments, but the fact is, they have no purpose being there. The only thing they do is disrupt the class or prevent the student from learning. I would legalize (or at least remove the ban) on motorcycle helmets for adults. I know how dangerous motorcycles can be, and (having been a paramedic) I've seen first hand the injuries that can result from not having a helmet. Guess what, we all know! I know the smart thing to do is to wear one, but if we are going to legislate wisdom we'll have to ban almost everything that causes injury and death. Ok, your turn, have at it!
