I did a discussion about animal movies that make us cry, but I'm just curious what movies in general make you cry, no matter how many times you see them? Here's just a few of mine: Steel Magnolias Return of the King (the end of it really gets me) While You Were Sleeping Sleepless In Seattle Seabiscut Beaches Into The West The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (I had a rather turbulant relationship with my mom too) Powder Stepmom Thelma and Louise Green Mile this is just some I can think of at the moment

Oh The Green Mile! I forgot about that one too :) I just think that Michael Clarke Duncan is a big ol' teddy bear!! You just want to give him a big ol' hug :) I like Edward Scissorhands and Johnny Depp too. I think it was my first Depp experiance too :) Which reminds me of another movie - Finding Neverland.

Edward scissorhands was probably the first movie I ever saw Johnny Depp in--needless to say I'm a fan of his--and yes, cry buckets at the end of the movie

I have many movies that I always cry during. Some might not make most lists but they seem to have a scene or two that choke me up. I agree with you on Steele Magnolias and of course The Green Mile. The Lord of The Rings series have a few scenes that get to me without fail. Armeggedon I always cry during. Independance Day, especially near the end with the president's speach and then Randy Quaids character in the ship. Even the Postman will get to me at times. I guess I'm just a big softy.

No specific titles come to mind right now. But ANY movie where a baby or young child is hurt or killed I will def. tear up. I cant handle that at all. Like, there is a Without A Trace episode where a baby is accidently killed, I've seen that episode twice and I cried both times. I think I may have teared up at The Bridge to Teribithia remake, if you've seen it you'll know why. I also get upset when animals are hurt or killed. Especially is the pain is really graphic and sad.

Most any movie can do that to me if it is really sad, but a few are Armageddon, the Green Mile, Deep Impact, Gurading Tess, While You Were Sleeping, The Perfect Storm....But the real hard part is I can cry from happy endings too..like You've Got Mail, ET, Conspiracy Theory, so it is just an emotional release for me I guess. That is probably wha keeps me sane...lol

One that is guaranteed to make me cry is Cold Mountain. Then of course there are: Titanic Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood The Others (I know it's a thriller, but I feel so sad for the mom when she finally realizes what has happened.) Thelma and Louise The Professional Million Dollar Baby Braveheart Gladiator I'm sure there are tons more, but there's a few for ya.
