Of the late more girls are not wearing the bangles to their hands mostly. Some of the girls wearing the bangles reduced to one hand only. What makes them to deviate from tradition?

Hi. prasad1961. I am not sure why women only wear bangles on one hand now. I still see many women that do wear them on both hands. I guess it could be a preference relation or an tradition of their culture that they have to follow. I wear them only on one wrist and it is only a few bangles too. I don't mind wearing them on my other wrist either.

here in the philippines as much as possible people try not to wear jewelry, especially expensive ones because you are attracting muggers of all sorts. ten years ago i had no fear of wearing two to three bracelets and go out. now even the smallest bit of jewelry i am scared to wear because i dont want to get mugged. with regard to bangles, they're just too bulky. i guess the trend in jewelry now are the smaller pieces.

I don't like to wear the bangles because they make me look like a loud and clumsy person even though they are artificial. I prefer to wear the bracelets; earrings or rings instead...

I'm not of a culture where bangles are a big thing, but I don't wear them because they hinder my day to day activities. They're in the way when I type, and if I wear more than one, I jangle and clank like I'm wearing armor or something. Too distracting. That being said, I really think that they are beautiful on other people, especially when there are multiples of them. Very feminine.

I'm assuming that you are referring to your culture, but personally, I never liked wearing bangles. They always get in my way, and are different from wearing just regular bracelets with clasps. Bangles are just too bulky for me.
