Which one do you prefer in your menstruation days?Tampon or a Panty liner.

Its the hard time of girls and when I got my first period at the age of eleven.I saw my mother feeling tensed in explaining me about the hard days I am going to face.She explained me about the preventive and safe measures during the leak days.And she told me to use a cotton cloth that time.But when I was familier with my days and have a lot of discussion with my friends I began to use the medical preventives and used both a tampon and a panty liner.I feel comfortable with a panty liner than a tampon .what do you think do companies keep there promises in the advertisements?whether its a tampon or panty liner.which one do you prefer and which brand?

I use a mooncup.
it's a re-usable menstrual cup. made of medical grade silicon and it lasts for about 10 years, and costs about £20. which is really economical. it's better for the environment, more practical as you don't need to empty it as often as you change a pad or tampon, there is no TSS risk and it is healthier for the body as it doesn't dry you out. it's comfier too.
it's fantastic, and I'd never go back to disposables
I'd recommend them to anyone

Same here, when i had my first period, i cant imagine the different feeling in my abdomen. I'm little scared what's wrong with because there is something red in my panty..lol But my mother helped me that day..I never use tampon maybe because i will not be comfortable with it. I've seen it and i dont like the it because it's something that going to put inside your private part, right.. So, everytime i had my period, i use regular pads for heavy days and pantyliners after the period.

Maybe you mean sanitary napkins. Panty liners are so thin and small it will not hold heavy flows. It's only used for light days and in between periods or unsure days. I did not try using tampons during my period because I cannot imagine myself inserting it there, LOL. Plus it seems messy using those. I prefer using sanitary napkin but I don't like the kind with wings. I used to like Whisper but the quality of the new ones are not the same like the one they have before. Right now, I use different brands hoping that I will again find something that will give me comfort and freedom to move without worries of blood stains.
