| | Hands down Star Trek. However Bab5 offered a more gritty and realistic view of any sort of interstellar future. The series got sort of preachy and outrageous toward the end so Star Trek wins. | | | | | | |

| | the thing that got me about Babylon 5 was its consistancy, I suppose that is because all episodes were written by only one author I don't know of any other show, scifi or otherwise to have done that, and the entire story line was tied together in a way that other shows didn't because of it. Though no one can ever out do what Gene Roddenbury did when he created Star Trek. | | | |

| | Yes I was thinking about all, and my list was more of an example then what my own choices would be, yes I can see where it may be just possible to simply consider all the Star Trek's as one, though Enterprise which was oddly enough called Enterprise and not Star Trek: Enterprise out of that loop even the animated star trek was better in some ways than Enterprise. Which is a shame it had a lot of potential and it tossed it away. I loved V, both the first and second mini series of those shows, as well as the extremely short lived tv series that followed. Jane Badler did evil so well, perhaps due to her name. And not sure if this is sci fi or not, but I would say yes, in that comic book hero type shows are considered sci fi, Greatest American Hero with William Katt, Connie Selleca, and Robert Culp. I enjoyed the old Battlestar Galactica, and the current one, but I was not a big fan of Galactica 1980. I enjoyed Buck Rogers when it was aired and enjoyed the one song from the original movie so much that I bought the album only one song had words, but it was a great song that usually no one has ever heard of. And Alien Nation sometimes I forget that it is even considered Scifi, I just enjoyed the show and characters so much, wish Scifi Channel would rerun it, I often considered it a cop show, rather than scifi, and the movies they came up with afterwards were very good and consistant with the stories of the original series. It was a case of enjoying the series more than the original movie, with Alien Nation. With Serentiy I liked Firefly the series better than the movie, I just didn't like that they left so many things hanging when the movie was supposed to give closure to those things left hanging by the shows cancellation. Buck Rogers was smooth transition from movie to tv series that is unusual. I also liked the earlier but not so much later seasons of Farscape but then it got to be to much. I did enjoy First Wave was disappointed that the show just disappeared. One of the things I found funny when looking up some info on an older scifi tv show, was in debate as to whether or not the show I remembered really existed or not I did find it on TVTome.com but what I found funny was that the Flying Nun was listed under scifi shows. I just can't see it in any form being scifi. | | | |

| | I liked sliders, though I didn't like some of the changes that had been made in later seasons of the series. I thought it was good with the original cast, and would have prefereed if they didn't go to far in that whole cro mag thing. | | | |

| | My favorites are: 1) Star Trek (All except Enterprise) 2) V 3) Battlestar Galactica (the 1978-1979 version - not really the new one) 4) Babylon 5 5) Buck Rogers In The 25th Century (Gil Gerard series) I've seen fanfic crossover stories in which they actually had the rag-tag fleet of Battlestar Galactica arrive in Federation space that I've enjoyed. Someone else did a V/BSG, & even BSG / Planet of the Apes. | | | | | | |

| | I haven't seen that fan fiction of those cross overs, sound like it might be interesting. Thought not sure how they will all fit, hmmm the BSG / Planet of the Apes kind of boggles the mind. | | | |
