I know that fibromyalgia is all over....(boy do i know) but I find there are places that hurt ALL the time practically...my hip, hands, and feet. A hot bath helps and pain meds (some). What do you do and where do you hurt?

Something I've found to work wonders is to take a Glucosamine Sulphate supplement daily. It'll take a few weeks to really kick in, but I've noticed the difference and am sleeping better now my knee joints are in a lot less pain.

Thanks for the advice. I have just gotten Glucosamine Hydrochloride but I haven't started taking it yet. Do you know what the difference is? Thanks!

Sorry, I really don't know. Best thing is to ask in a health food shop. They should be trained enough to know what all the herbs and pills are for!

My legs are my biggest problem. I usually take pain medication but find that heat helps more. It can be a hot bath, a hot bean bag (a long one placed between my legs running the length of my legs), or even sitting next to a heater. It bothers me though that my arms and shoulder can feel so totally exhausted after folding one towel.

If you don't mind my asking...what type of pain meds do you take? I wonder if what I am taking (Tramadol) is the best choice or not.
