Crown of thorns  

There is a history of the crown of thorns and you can look it up online - however, if you are looking for biblical figures or those that were forced to wear one...I don't know any UNLESS you will take in consideration those that followed Jesus and christianity in the roman time when they were crucified for it and ...forced to wear a crown of thorns!

No, I've never heard or read of anyone else wearing the crown of thorns. Jesus was crucified as "King of the Jews," so the crown of thorns was just another way of ridiculing Him.

I think Jesus was the only one to wear a crown of thorns. I've never heard it mentioned anywhere else.

Many things happened at Jesus' trial and crucifixion that didn't happen to criminals who were crucified. No criminal was mocked as Jesus was, or clothed with a robe and a crown. We need to remember that it was religious people who sought His death, not the Romans. The use of the royal robe and crown had very deep significance.

As far as we know, no others had previously worn a crown of thorns or any sort of crown.

..did anyone else ever have to wear a crown of thorns? Not that I know of.. 'goddesses' and even some 'gods' were portrayed with garlands or wreaths on their heads.. but Jesus' wreath had thorns.. reminds me of the verses in Colossians 1(19,20) "it pleased God that the fulness of God be in Jesus, and for him to make peace.. so that all things in heaven and on earth would be brought back to God.."

What exactly are you asking ..are you asking for references from Scripture of Jesus wearing thorns or has it ever been done before Jesus?
