Johnny Cupcakes Rip Offs

Have you ever heard of Johnny Cupcakes? His popular shirt has been copied by Urban Outfitters (their version seen below w/o the Johnny Cupcakes logo) after they told him they wouldn't sell his products in their store. I also saw another person who independently produces their own t-shirts who have ripped off a couple of his designs as their own. Have you seen these? How do you feel about rip-off designers? It really sucks to see a major name like Urban Outfitters stoop to such lows. I hope they get in some major trouble for swiping the design - from the way I see it - that is all they did. The concept is close enough that it would be considered copyrigth infringement.
