can women become president of any country?

yes but not as strong as the male president...

Somebody that wants to be a president can be one as long as that person is highly qualified and knows about being the who leads the country. Men or women can do that just like in Philippines right?

Can a woman be a Successful President? @ALex I think a woman can be a successful president because women have been good leaders in other countries for years. Our constitution guarantees that all mankind is created equal. I think that some womaen are smarter if not as smart as men, they have more common sense, and I beleive that a woman would not be as quick as a man to start wars. Besides, how would people know if this woman, from the streets is really better than a guy president? Give women a chance! @Kristen A woman can be a president. They do a job just as good as men because they are just as smart as men. Women are equal to men, and should have the same opportunities as men. Women follow rules are fair too. women can cooperate with the government. women can make choices, and effective speeches. She does her job well. I think men and women has equal skills but differ in making decision. Mostly women put their hearts in every decision they made. Women used heart over mind. I think everyone can be a president, either a man or woman. What matters most is that they have a good heart and always think what will be the best for the country.

yes they can. philippines is run by a lady president. she's not perfect, but hey, nobody is. running an entire country is not whether you're a man/woman..it's how good you are as a leader.

Yes as a matter of fact we have a lady president in her second term. Problems always arises in any country no matter who heads and rules the country. There's no excuse to anyone, no exemption. Even how progressive the country is, problems are always present. We can't blame the ruler for that, he/she can't pleased everybody.

I guess GMA (our president) is managing, not really well, but still managing. I don't have anything about a woman being a president because I do think we are also capable of doing what a man can do. God created us equal after all. But I do have something against a President who corrupts. You see, it doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman, it he or she is not honest and doesn't look at the the welfare of his/her constituents, it's the same. Yup, we women do decide with out hearts, which is a good thing because though our hearts are still dictated with our brains, the difference is that, we do have more humane decisions.
