Cigarette Stubs

Do cigarette stubs being left on the floor outside annoy you? Do you think that people should throw their cigarettes in a bin?

I agree there should be bins and people should use them. When there is an ashtray right there and butts all round then that is plain laziness on people's parts. They are the same ones that throw paper on the ground even if there is a trash can a few steps away. If there isn't a bin there is no reason they cannot crush it out and pocket it till they get to one. I've done it. There is no reason why others cannot either.

Well it is nice to see that you do take responsibility for your smoking. I think that all smokers should take responsibility.

Of course I do. I also don't smoke where I shouldn't. Now my brother and sister-in-law don't smoke anymore and even though they allow me to I don't smoke in their house. That's just being polite in my opinion.

Yes, this is a serious pet peve of mine. I have an ashtray on my poarch and insist people use it. I was alwways amazed at my old job how a 55 gallon drum, placed out there for buts, would have buts on the ground all around it, but never in it. I dont throw mine on the ground ever. If there is no receptical, then i knock the head off and take the but with me. I don't think it's a big thing to ask people is it.
