What is your Dream Wedding?

That sounds beautiful! My wedding was held in my parents back yard because it is beautifully landscaped with all sorts of flowers with a long deck and an arbor. I actually wore a white bride's maid dress that flowed to the ground (it was what I could afford at the time but I thought it was strange to have bridesmaid dresses in white and that long because it looked like a wedding gown) My hubby was dressed to impress too but without tuxedo, tie and cumberbun*. I didn't want to pressure my guests into having to shop for new, super dressy and uncomfortable attire and they really appreciated that it was casual. It was truly my dream wedding because I married my dream man ; ) If I were going to renew my vows, I'd probably elope to some exotic place and get married in a colorful sundress and bare feet on a beach.

That does sound like a very beautiful wedding! I love the butterfly bit the best. My wedding wasn't much. We didn't have a lot of money and we had to pay for it. So I didn't have my 'dream' ritual of the wedding but like myspot - I married the man of my dreams. But for the sake of it here is what my dream wedding would have been : A nice medieval themed wedding. All the bridesmaids in different gowns from the period (all of their own chosing but same color), my sister's (maid of honor) dress would have looked like the dress in Ever After : A Cinderella Story. My hubby and the groomsman however could be dressed in tuxes if he wished. We would have banners with our family crest on it, roasted pig for the reception, and even period music if I could have found it.

my dream wedding is a wedding near a beach... hehe... my bridesmaids and groomsmen are wearing hawaiian style clothing.. and my future hubby.hmmmmm.who will that be?

i'd like it to be a night wedding. is that possible? if its in the church, i'd like it to be filled with white roses or lilies, then there would be tiny golden lights everywhere. the setting would be like there seems to be golden stars above you and then the aisle would be lined with roses or lilies. if it would be a garden wedding, i want it to be like the setting on princess diaries 1 wherein mia finally had her kiss that makes her foot pop up. i want it to be like that, flowers and lights. its really romantic and its breathtaking.

Actually, that is also my dream wedding just like yours but I want my wedding to be more private and solemn. My gown would be a off shoulder princess cut, my mottif would be baby pink or peach. While time would be in the late after noon I guess around sunset to become more romantic.

Having been infatuated with England since the age of five, give or take, I've always seen myself getting married somewhere in the English countryside, outdoors, of course, perhaps in the center of Stonehenge, that is, if they allowed people to get that close to it. I can dream, can't I? *grin*
