I would appreciate anyone of mylot user to comment on this article which I extracted from a magazine. It quote: "Jesus described in a brief outline form the conditions that would indicate the end of time was nearing. he warned His disciples: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will decieve many" (Matthew 24:4-5). Jesus first prophesied it would be common to use His name to win over followers. This suggests that many outwardly Christian churches, denominations and organizations would exist at the time of the end, and many would be deceived into believing their leaders represented Christ. yet the Church that really follows Christ would be faithfully obeying God's Word and His commandments. Christ warned, " Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven"(Matthew 7:21). Next Jesus described political, military and environmental trends before His second coming. "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will eb famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24:6-8)

Very good scriptures. I believe that all these things are coming to pass now. I believe that we are in the end of days, and it is going to get worse.

There has been wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes for the last 2000 years. We had many more wars in the past than we do today. However... there is a new beginning every 2150 years. The last one started in year 0. And the second coming that the bible talks about will happen in 2150.

The holy scriptures saying never goes wrong. What was said is rightly happening, and everyone should be prepared to face the consequences.

Yes - very good scripture to reference. We are definately in the last days and the people in this world have become even more evil than ever. There are many "false doctrines" circulating the world - and sin has risen more than ever. People are "lovers of themselves, boastful, arrogant, defiant..." All we can do is give our life to Christ, live according to His Word, and be ready for the rapture to take place. Go to www.raptureready.com to find out more ways to be prepared! I definately do not want to be left around for the tribulation period & will not in the name of Jesus!
