I have filled my smallest crock pot with the ingredients for chili. All except chopped bell peppers and onions. I will do that in the morning.

I have a number of slow cookers/crock pots.
This morning in went to plug one in. It shot out a spark where the cord joins the appliance.
I am glad I was there to take care of it. It is now in the trash. No need for a fire hazard...
