So far all the apartments I have looked at either I don’t like or they are good but the building is not. In some instances the price and/or the property tax is too high or they need a lot of work.
Having spent a lot of money...

I evidently didn't say "Good morning" this morning because I just went out the door.
I asked a couple of ladies in the Food Bank line who live at the place I'm trying to get into where the manager office was. One told me, and I...

When we first came and inquired about this apartment we wanted and needed a 3 bedroom apartment on the bottom floor. However they didn't have one available and they asked if we wanted to be put on the waiting list for when...

Last year was my first round robin and I really enjoyed it. So when they announced it for this year, I definitely wanted to participate.
We started at 6:30 and went to the third floor. I didn't count how many apartments we went...

I was recently reading a post about someone being annoyed by having an apartment inspection. And I thought I'd weigh in as a former landlord, because it's not the first time I have read such a post.
I get that inspections can be...

I was talking to someone the other day, and in the middle of the conversation they casually mentioned where I live, and described what my apartment complex looked like. I was surprised because I never told them where I lived....

My sister's friend, from McPherson is wanting to move.
His rent is going up a lot in July and he feels he cannot afford it, so he would like to find another income based housing.
Probably he does not keep track of his medical...

This is the cheapest apartment I could find! 362.00 a month on rent cafe in Minnesota. These apartments aren't too bad for this price. Now this is in my budget! What do you think? What's the cheapest rent you've paid?

My brother came over, and we went to the apartment place. We were told that we needed to get something corrected on the application by a certain time, or the apartment would go higher in price.
So we came home, I...

Happy May Day!
It's 6:40 am by my computer clock. I need to go and get some coffee.
As I said last night, I don't know when my brother is coming over.
Right now, I need to go and get some coffee and breakfast....

The contractors are ruining our apartments. Instead of hiding the new sprinkler system above the ceilings... They are running these big pipes all around the perimeters of our walls near the ceiling, and leaving them exposed.
It...

When I came home from my errands, my brother's work truck was parked in front of the house.
While he was here, he laid the rest of the floor in the living room, and did some stuff in the bathroom. I tried to look for...

Some of you may remember my apartment manager lied to me about getting a renovated apartment. So, yes, I'm stuck here for another year in the same, shall I say, unfortunate, place to live.
But she seems to mean business in other...

I think this is false advertisement! Ads for apartments that cost 125.00 and 309.00! And then when You call them they say that's the condo fee or a garage! This is to get people to call. Only one apartment for 450.00 was legit!...

So I have talked about how bad my apartment is (I can leave next April -Covid kept me from being able to move this past April): no hot water, the water actually turning my skin red, and getting a rash from it, and that is just the...

As many of you know, my apartment is the bane of my existence. The Covid 19 kept me from finding a new place in time, so I am stuck here until next April. Most of my issues are with my apartment, and not my neighbors. Today, it...

About every four months my apartment sends out a letter that states pest control will be coming by to spray. I have never had any bug problems, but the maintenance man tells me I am one of the few whose apartment is not a pig sty....
