It was the 11th hour of the 11th month of 1918, 100 years ago today.It was supposed to be the war to end all wars,but this was not the case.In the United States it is now called veterans day.

i remember when i first came here in the UK and we did 2 mins of silence to show respect and remember the nation's war dead for Armistice Day.
