Does anyone have their favorite recipe for baked or stuffed French Toast?

I love my friend's baked french toast -- it comes out tender and custard like - but not too wet. Mine comes out like bread soup. Anyone have a great recipe for baked french toast?! Or baked french toast? That's really yummy too!

I've heard of baked french toast but I've never acually made it. Those of you who have had it did you enjoy it and was it worth the time it takes for this kind of a family breakfast?
