I don't know in what part of the world the blood moon could be seen tonight (3/3/26) but I know that I saw it. It was huge and orange. Maybe it was a bit more golden. It was not red like...

Tonight, there is a total lunar eclipse. This occurs when the Earth comes between the moon and the sun. Because the light from the sun is blocked, tonight’s full moon will be in shadow. This will cause a ‘blood moon’ as the colour...

I went to sleep around 11 PM, waited an extra hour post my bedtime to see the eclipse. Drizzling did stop after 10:30 but the stubborn clouds refused to nudge off. I was too exhausted, left the hope and went downstairs to sleep...

Not able to see last night’s celestial phenomenon because it’s raining here but I woke up this morning with red right eye and a painful eyeball; not itchy though. I don’t know what the reason is and I just hope that it will go...

May's full moon is known as the "Flower Moon," and because a total lunar eclipse, also known as a "blood moon" as it gives the moon a reddish tint, is also set to happen at the same time, it's being called the "Super Flower Blood...

I read on the Internet that the Eastern Hemisphere will be given the rare treat of being able to witness a Total Lunar Eclipse or Blood Moon in a few days! July 27-28 will be as no other in those parts of the world!
This special...

We parked down the road a bit so that we’d have a clear view of the moon last night. But this photo of the moon framed by the trees looks the best of our images. Vince was disappointed with his shots but his camera isn’t designed...

The "blood moon" looked more brown than red, as the color is from the moonlight shining through the atmosphere. The moon appeared large tonight, because it's as close as it comes during the month.
I'm posting this partly for my...

Tonight, for people in the US (actually around the world but it's still early evening where I am) we'll see a rare sight. The moon will be full, at the same time as it'll be at it's closest approach to earth, so it will appear...

We have heard this plenty of times. I think it has become a fashion among some individuals to predict the world end. The media provide them a good publicity, even without any scientific evidence!
Once we heard it in 2012, they...

The southwestern portion of my state was able to see the blood moon. The moon was closest to the earth and we even had a eclipse. It was a beautiful sight to behold and something we won't see again for another 18 years. I guess a...

The sky was unusually clear, at around 4.40am, so although, it was my usual time of rising, no extra effort required, the heralded eclipse, was already happening.
But there was nothing "Bloody" about it...just a supersize yellow...
