Tonight we will drop into the 30s F. After 80s F over the weekend, that will be a big temperature drop.

Birds are flocking to my deck feeder again. They enjoy the sunflower seeds and peanuts. Cardinals visit early and late, before and after the crowd.
Blue Jays (in the photo) are usually the second to arrive. Grackles and other...

Had to clean out the wet bird feeder earlier. We got tons of rain last night from the storms that came through.
The rain left the feeder a mess. Had to clean it out and now the birds are waiting in line. Maybe I need a second...

The camera is setup on a tripod behind the patio doors. It is too cold to stand out on the deck and wait on a photo op for the birds at the feeder.
I snapped a few photos this morning and was excited to get three blue jays in one...

For such a common bird in our area.. I find it extremely hard to get good photos of Blue Jays and Cardinals for that matter.
I was lucky earlier this week when I went out at 5am to get in some nice morning and sunrise shots...

I'm not talking about pet birds. I'm talking about certain pests outside.
I have one outside cat and she's OLD. Every summer she is bothered by mockingbirds. Last year I had to put her food umder a cover so she could eat in...
