My whole house smells like smoke!

My husband decided to make a snack; so, he popped some corn dogs in the microwave and set the timer. Next thing I knew, I smelled smoke. Come to find out, my husband misread the directions and set the microwave for 8 minutes...

on the stove? For me it was the time I forgot I was boiling eggs and when to bed... a few hours later they were exploding and hitting my ceiling!
