In the UK it is now legally mandatory for supermarkets to charge customers who need plastic carrier bags for their shopping. This is supposedly to encourage us to use bags again before disposing of them. I usually do, as I rarely...

I realized why supermarkets keep putting my shopping in flimsy transparent carrier bags. It is so the security people can easily see what I bought, just in case I try to secrete a few extra items in that haven't been paid for....
