Did anyone else feel that the Eragon movie was absolutely terrible?

I think that Fox totally ruined the book when they made the Eragon movie. They didn't get anything in the plot right and destroyed the unique idea that is behind the novel. I just don't think that it's right when movies are made...

for the new movie? Do you think it looks good? The boy they chose to play Eragon really annoys me. And the Elf princess looks way too young. Did you like the book? Did you know a 15 year old wrote it?
