When I was young I used to love reading Superman comics. Spiderman, Phantom, Tarzan were my other favourite comic book heroes. Even now I enjoy reading Tintin and Asterix comics.

What comic books are you reading these days? I'm just finishing Ultimate X-Men. It sucks but since read first 50 issues, I think I'll finish it. Then I'll get to Hellblazer again and maybe try "The Boys". I've heard it's not bad.
