So, I just went to the freezer in the garage to get something out for my tea, and as I was walking back through the carport I saw some caterpillars out of the corner of my eye…..on the bin !

Out and about on my travels, in the City, I ended up by the Millennium Bridge and near a small garden, on the Thames Embankment. I found an insect hotel.
Designed for single insects, like solitary bees and other creepy crawlies....

And what I saw there was beautiful, in a nonsensical and ridiculously quirky way. There is a lot to learn from Alice and her many adventures, even in contemporary times. Lewis Carroll was ahead of his times in many respects.

I took my dog for a long walk yesterday and he was in and out of the weeds. I use a tick and flea medication on him but it only works if the tick or flea bites him.
Now you must understand, I let my dog sleep in my bed with me...
