The Ganesha Diya is made in the shape of the Elephant God Lord Ganesha. Hindus worship the God. There are five different diyas together which are required to be lit during the Diwali. Oil and cotton balls are used to light them.

Today is Bijoya Dashami. After putting sindoor and sweets to Goddess Durga all the idols of Goddess Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati and Gods Ganesha and Kartika and immersed in holy Ganges. For Hindus it is a sad day. The 4 day festival...
