CSI Vegas better without Gil Grissom?

Out of the 3 CSI shows that we have right now, I'd say I'm more a Vegas fan. Nothing beats the original for me. I followed all seasons to the current Season 10. I felt sad when Gil Grissom's character was removed from the show....

Who will replace Gil Grissom next season

With confirm reports that William Petersen will leave CSI in the middle of the season 9. Who do think will replace him as Supervisor? Would catherine step up on that position? Would there be another person whould replace him.

Episode 4 of CSI Season 8 has shown us how Gil Grissom loves Sara Sidle by proposing to her inside a honey bee colony. It's a sign that Sara will be leaving the show soon.

Gil Grissom is a very mysterious, clever, and interesting character. Bits about his personal life are just occasionally mentioned in the show, leaving us viewers to wonder what else we haven't discovered about the CSI team...

Grissom Leaving CSI

How does everyone else feel about this? Grissom will be leaving the show for awhile, not sure how long. William Peterson wants to get back to stage acting. I just know it won't be the same and I'm not sure I'm going to like it....
