Lucky for you, I’m done blabbing about the vacation. It was utterly amazing. My first time to see the Grand Canyon from the ground (instead of a plane, which is how I first saw it), and to see the Rocky Mountains. And the...

It was a helicopter ride followed by a short bus stint. I knew what to expect as I had seen a few images of this marvel on the Net. Our camera did not do justice to what was visible to the eye
The helicopter ride was turbulent...

Another place I would love to see is the Grand Canyon. I would love to walk on the glass observation deck, and tack a trip to the bottom (please let me take a helicopter back up though.)
Technically I have seen it from an...

When my husband and I and our two children came home from Okinawa, we drove from California to West Virginia. It was a long, tiring trip. We started out in San Francisco and headed east.

There are some experiences that can be just as great the 100th time you do them as the first. For me, watching snow fall is like that. It never gets old.
But there are other pleasures in life that can be experienced only once. My...
