Heather Mills Biography:Heather Mills was born on January 12, 1968 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. When she was just a few months old, her family moved to Washington, but eventually settled down in County Durham. When Mills was nine years old, her mother left the family, and they were reunited only when Mills' abusive father was sent to prison. Mills herself eventually left her mother’s home in London, and started living in the streets as an adoloscent. She made money by creating and selling various kinds of businesses, but eventually stumbled upon the world of modeling. When she was nineteen, she participated, along with a male model, in a photo shoot that had her simulating different sexual acts. The photographs came out in a book named "Die Freuden der Liebe (The Joys Of Love)." After suffering an ectopic pregnancy, she relocated to Slovenia in the hopes of recovering, but instead, she found herself modeling again in order to raise money for the soldiers of the civil war. Nine years before she tied the knot with former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, Mills was involved in a terrible accident that caused Mills her left leg. Nevertheless, the tragedy did not stop her from becoming a human and animal rights advocate. In 2006, Mills and McCartney let the public know of their plans to separate. She felt that the some of the media were portraying her unfairly, and denied claims that she was only after her ex-husband’s money.
Mills has had to overcome many tragedies in her life, but her current project has proven to be much more of a delight, as she is one of the “Stars” competing in season 4 of Dancing with the Stars. Her partner on the show is dancer Jonathan Roberts. |
