Here it's spitting and stopping and then snowing a lot and stopping. So far no snow is staying on the ground.

Sharing a few pink blooms from my front garden from the past few days. This Hyacinth flower first appeared a few years ago in my garden. I did not plant the flower. A nice surprise gift.

Today is the first day of spring. Woke up to sunshine thankfully. Took a walk around the yard. A few more blooms are showing themselves.

Snapped this Hyacinth bloom in the garden earlier, in between rain showers. I did not plant this one.
Perhaps it was mixed in with a load of mulch I purchased. You can buy these as bulbs and plant them.
After finding this pink...

Happy Wednesday everyone! It is still a cold day at 6° C but a bit sunny. It looks warm but when I went out in my balcony, too cold to stay outside. Before I went back inside the house, I took photos of my hyacinths.

The best smelling flowers of spring are the hyacinths. Such a sweet smell that drifts on a spring breeze and so intoxicating. They come in so many shapes and colors that will make any gardener happy. This variety is called a red....

I am a hyacinth fan. I love the smell of them, they remind me of lilacs. I love how there are bunches of flowers on one stem. And I love how long they last in the garden. I have had hyacinth for 2 or 3 weeks after they bloom....
