What are some "big" words you use in day-to-day speech?

Just curious if anyone uses any "big" words in their day-to-day speech. If you do, are there people who you "tone it down" around because you know they may not be as word savy as you?

Is there any difference between "hard boiled egg" and "soft boiled egg"? or there are the same thing? I once looked up an dictionary online only to find the same meaning for these two phrases.
