What type of house do you prefer?

Log home, bi-level, ranch, two-story, victorian???I like our bi-level we live in for now. I know once we get alot older I will want to have a ranch style house, since they are all on one level. What do you prefer???

Who lives in a log home? Did you build it or not? Did you design it? can you give me some Pros and Cons? What state are in? We bought 2 acres in Tx and thinking of a log home. What type of logs? Please give opinions.
