Today I see one discussion which concerns to my favourite interests but i have not respond it as i saw it was started before 3 years. Is any restriction to give response old discussions?

Seen it mentioned in a K-mart ad.. and I hadn't heard of it.
It usually says rated when I rate someone-- and when I return back to the discussion to read new responses it would still say rated... now its showing me an option to rate people again...
Does mylot delete old dicussions? or completed discussions?
