do you beleive that no matter what you do for others or do to yourself so that others may approve of you still there are some who wont be please of what youve done...great example of this is doing charity works ..some may...

What's the ultimate point to life: to be happy or to help others?

Methinks it's got to be toth - if you are happy, it's easier to help others. You help others, that pleases your ego, so you are happy.
