Prenatal vitamins - are they worth the price tag?

Folic acid supplements are recommended until you reach 12 weeks... but after that, are/did you bother taking prenatal vitamins? I'm currently taking Pregnacare Plus - they contain omega 3, etc... but I find them very expensive!...
