The photo shows two more sculptures we saw in Williams that were made from metal scraps and/or old tools. Some of these sculptures are better than others and while these are quite good, the kangaroo’s forepaws bend the wrong way....

While we were in Fremantle on the wharf, I saw this cute dog made out of dozens of circles of iron. I guess it’s iron or metal of some sort. Perhaps it will be an inspiration to @Fleura who is going to have welding lessons soon....

We spent the night in the seaside town of Busselton, Western Australia. We attended a play put on by a school. Our friend’s daughter took part in the play which was very enjoyable. It’s amazing how talented some of these young...

Dotted at various points near the skywalk in Kalbarri, Western Australia, were more sculptures of Australian wildlife. We saw similar but much larger ones in Tom Price. I’ve already written about them in...

In 2015, when we were touring in our motor-home, we came across these sculptures in Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany. They are by Fernando Botero, a Colombian artist and sculptor who was born in 1932. He often depicts people and...

Many moons ago, I read The Iliad and The Odyssey and enjoyed the stories of the Gods and their antics. I took photos of sculptures of four of the characters when we were on the cruise ship, Queen Mary 2. I’ve already written about...

I am quite convinced you can find anything on the internet. A few years ago we walked through the Perth mall and came across this statue. We've taken photos of it before. The sculpture is modelled on a character who used to...

Although we hosted a lot of couch-surfers, we didn’t ‘surf many couches’ ourselves. There were various reasons. Many young hosts could only offer a couch or somewhere to lay your sleeping bag. Some could only take one person. When...

I took over a hundred pictures today at the Botanical Gardens. It's an awesome place, and I'm so glad I went there to enjoy my day. The picture above is one of many of the Lego sculptures throughout the park. There was only one...

Xu Hong Fei is a local sculptor here. His famous sculptures are about fat women. It is very different than usual as people all prefer to be thin. His fat women sculptures are very cute and it is fun to look at them.

I received a collection of photos of such pictures from different cities all over the world, mostly never seen in the past. They are very modern, cover a ranged of themes. The only one I did see is the Worker from Slovania.

Writing about the fibreglass cows in Cowaramup, Western Australia, and wishing I could have a small one in Herc's paddock reminded me of these sheep we saw in England some years ago.
