Do you prefer to give/receive just one big present or several smaller ones?

generally, I'd prefer to have a few smaller presents because it keeps the spirit of Christmas going longer. my sons also like to have several "bits & pieces" for the pleasure of unwrapping. We always wrap each thing individually...
