pappy steve

pappy steve is mama vickie's hubby for 28 years this june. he is a sweetie. this photo was taken 2007 christmas eve. you see him leaning on a cane. that is because in 2003 he suffered a spinal cord injury in his neck due to degenerative arthritis. the vertebrae simply collapsed onto the cord compressing it almost completely flat. if he had not had the benefit of god's merciful hand in emergency surgery he would either be a parapalygic or dead today. so i praise god for the miracle knowledge given to our medical professionals from the lord, for he is the source!
