Itchy scar on my neck after 2 months of my goiter operation

My neck is itchy, I wanted to scratch it buy I shouldn't. It's been two months since my goiter or thyroid operation on my right nodule. I guess it is now healing thanks God :)

Both my parents have thyroid problems . Mom is taking thyroxine sodium sodium tablets 25 mcg while dad 5 mcg . Still dad has pain in hip joint and legs accompanied by fatigue . Mom is losing weight and unable to sleep at night ....

How many of you are being treated for an under-active thyroid? Are you having a difficult time with weight gain even if you're on medication? Mine is making me crazy. What medication does your doctor have you on?
