How many of you want to sing but could not?

I admit, I am not one of the people who are gifted with a good singing voice. I would say that I am off-key most of the time and tone deaf. If I sing, usually those around me, my friends or family, would always ask, if I am okay....

Does anyone knew that he/she is tone deaf? How do you describe tone deaf? Is it cureable?

I am watching the preliminaries again. Great entertainment! What really gets on my nerves is how many times Simon says "yes" to people who are singing off key. Then, he turns around and says "no" to someone who can really sing...
